Merry Christmas Eve, everyone! I hope you all get to enjoy time with family and friends and realize the beauty and peace of the season.
My pup wants to send her love, as well...
Growing up as an only child, I got used to having only three stockings hanging from the fireplace (plus the dog/s). Now, living with all the super cool peeps that I do, we have 8 stockings currently hanging from the fireplace.
Nicole and I put random ones up for everyone else, so they are kind of funny. From left to right, we have:
- A combo stocking for Sarah & the Toaster (that is his nickname now).
- Noelle's stocking that has Nicole's name embroidered on it, but which Nicole covered the "ico" up with "oel".
- Nicole's stocking, with Schubert's little stocking hanging on the same hook.
- Amy's stocking with her name written in puffy paint.
- My stocking that I've had since probably before I was born, which my mom sent to me filled with stuff...yippee! I have the coolest parents ever!
- Midi's stocking.
- A makeshift stocking for Pelly, until Nicole gets back from Costa Rica and can hang her real one.
Is that 8? Yes, I just recounted. 8 stockings, that's awesome!!! Makes me feel like I'm part of a big family here...which, I guess I already felt like that before we hung the stockings...just cool to see the visual!
Oh, and the big bag on the floor is the 400+ teddy bears I am taking to Africa for our team to distribute as part of the gift giving we are doing. There are 800 more going with other people. I can't believe I was able to get them all stuffed...thank you vacuum packing!
