inspired to blog

it's funny how someone else blogging can inspire me to blog. i'm such a follower at times. i'm ok with that. jesus said, "follow me". can't be a bad trait to emulate in some instances.

i'm not sure i have anything earth-shattering to share today. i'm all moved in here in atlanta. i'm still waiting on my new couch and desk to be delivered, but i don't think that is holding me back. i think i can officially say i am done. here. present. i have done all my traveling. i am settled. at least for now. there will be another one or two nashville trips this month for work and to close up my apartment, but that's a good thing. being that i am still working for african leadership, i expect to make at least a monthly trip to franklin for 2-3 days at a time...which means i get to see my friends every month...and that is super ok with me.

i expect to start my atlanta job at some point in the next week or two, barring that my last two interviews go well. i think they are more a formality than anything, but you never know. it's a part-time position, but i'm excited about it. it's something i enjoy doing, it will give me the opportunity to work with great people and meet new people, and get me out of the house. between the AL work and my music promotion work, i spend a lot of time with the mutts! must be nice to live the good life...



i've been trying to be more social now that i am all moved in. the past few weeks have been hectic since i've been back and forth to nashville and then in buffalo this past weekend, but now that i'm home for good for a few weeks, i've decided to hit the town and ground running. fortunately, living with 3...soon to be 4....other girls helps. built-in social life! thanks, roomies! :O) and, while i'm at it, i have to say that the women i live with are amazing. i am looking forward to the days ahead. i'm sure i will have stories to share...

right now, i'm the only one here. nicole is in florida with her family for a few days. i would be super jealous, but i'll be in st. augie in a month (holla). the other girls are at work. so, me and the mutts and schubert the cat are kickin' it around the crib.

like i said, nothing really interesting to share.
